Anjana Bhargav

In the evolving Indian fashion landscape, Anjana Bhargav has carved a niche, for herself. She is best categorized as a woman who designs for individuals with ‘substance’, She insists on designing “real clothes” for “real women”. Initially on an extremely small level, Anjana started designing for her friends. Armed with a formal degree in Textile Designing and Pattern cutting combined with an inherent sense of aesthetics, Anjana was encouraged by the overwhelming response she got. She established Studio A, a design studio in New Delhi. She launched her first collection at a fashion show in 1994 with Bina Ramani, one of India’s leading designers and pioneer of the Indian Fashion Industry. This was soon followed by a solo fashion show ‘An Indian Summer’, which was held at the prestigious UNESCO Hall in Paris. Since then, Anjana has had several showings in Sharjah, London, Kathmandu and New York along with showings of her collections in New Delhi.

Mr. Vinod Kaul

He is a seasoned professional with over thirty years of experience in the retail, fashion and publishing industries in senior positions. He obtained his graduate Honours degree (BSc.) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and Post Graduation (PGDBA) from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, specializing in marketing. He has worked in Canada with Canadian fashion retailers. In India, he has worked in senior capacities with brands like Tata Exports Ltd., Bata India Ltd., DCM-Benetton India Pvt.Ltd. (Executive Director), Birla VXL Ltd. (VP-Marketing) and Raymond Ltd. (Director-Retail). He headed the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) as Executive Director from 2002-2004. In 2004, Mr Kaul launched his start-up e-publishing venture, NewsVision which now has six publications in retail, fashion and luxury. In 2008 he launched India’s first comprehensive retail database called DataLive. In Feb 2009, he was appointed Director once again at the Fashion Design Council of India. Mr Kaul is on the Board of a number of Companies and Institutions.

Leena Singh

Payal Jain graduated Summa-cum-Laude from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), San Francisco, U.S.A. she launched her label and has come a long way since then to be recognized as one of the leading fashion designers in the country. She has undoubtedly captured the Indian soul in her classic western silhouettes. Her couture is a perfect paean to an individual expression where each piece created enhances the identity of the wearer. Today her ensembles are sold at exclusive outlets across the Globe. She has been instrumental in raising funds through shows for NGOs like Tamana Special School, Vatsalya Foundation for street children in Mumbai, Cancer Patient Aid Association and Prayas Foundation in Delhi. Mr. Arya is a dynamic and versatile management professional with an eventful career of 30+ Years predominantly in the areas of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship Development and Training; Cluster intervention, Research/Survey Studies Personnel Management, Employee Relations, Disciplinary Proceedings, Manpower Planning and recruitment., etc. He is presently working as the Director General of the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), NOIDA, an autonomous body under Govt. of India, responsible for preparing and executing the policies/programmes of the Institute under the supervision and guidance of the Governing Council headed by the Hon’ble Minister of MSME; Government of India and Executive Committee headed by the Secretary (MSME) to Government of India.
